Easy to use. You just need to add batteries. For the pen you select the type of tip you want to use. It comes with traditional accupucture, facial beauty accupucture, scrapping message, tapping massage and without a tip on it can be used as node point massage. Once you apply tip you want and add batteries you can start. I recommend starting low and adjust to higher strength as needed.

This little pen is amazing..I use it for a good workout on my face. It has three heads the flat head is the one I use for my facial massage and the round head I do the acupuncture procedures. I purchased this for carpal tunnel pain in my wrist and for neck pain and headaches associated with it. I already own a regular tens unit. But I figured this would be more concentrated pain relief. When i had a really sore neck and trap muscles from sleeping in a weird position, using this tool on it helped a lot. the sensation is a lot like a tens unit but very strong. don't be deceived by the cheap price or even the plastic feel of the tool - it's very powerful and I had to use it on low!
